If you install the dev branch, make sure you have the latest BeardLib commit it's possible that branch uses unreleased features not found in the public (MWS) version.
Launch the game and click Yes on the dialog that pops up. After downloading the editor by clicking Code -> Download ZIP, unzip the contents of the ZIP file in the mods folder of the game. (Required for the massunits tool) Download the 圆4 version runtime. Do note that without that fix, the editor will not work properly. In order to enable matchmaking, you must disable the physics fix through the editor's options menu. Playing with people with said edit can cause issues if not everyone has the said fix. Matchmaking is disabled by default due to having to edit the physics settings of the game. Check if the mod shows up in the list.BeardLib-Editor is a tool that allows you to edit and create things like maps & environments. If the "Mods" option doesn’t appear, then you’ve likely made a mistake or installed the mod improperly. 
Boot up PAYDAY 2, and go to “Options”, then "Mods":
Now, let’s check if it was installed properly. zip for the mod you want to install, then extract or drag the contents into your “mod_overrides” folder: It should probably be pretty empty at this point. Make sure it’s named “mod_overrides” exactly: If you don’t see that folder in there, go ahead and make it. You should see a folder called “mod_overrides” in here along with some other files, like so:. Not there, or forgot where you installed it? Click here for a guide. By default, this isĬ:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\PAYDAY 2. 
Installing these is very simple, so let’s get started! These can range from the color of your health bar to the appearance of the enemies in-game. As the name implies, the ‘mod_override’ folder is used to override existing assets in the game’s files.
